We are committed to improving the lives of animals, one at a time ... whether by providing a safe and loving foster home, or thoughtful relocation via adoption, or simply by acting as a community-based resource for adoption networking and medical care for animals in need.

Our passion is for All animals to experience that humans can be kind and loving friends.

Our Commitment

We especially take seriously, a responsibility to all the animals in our community, current and future. To that end, we pursue an ongoing dialogue within the community, focusing on the importance of each person taking personal responsibility to foster an active spay/neuter posture within their own household.

Our Goals

We are a "No-Kill" Sanctuary with limited resources. Our immediate goals are to expand the number of foster homes in the community and to broaden our educational programs in order to better equip the public in becoming the most responsible pet guardians they can be. We believe with conviction that no animal should be born simply to die.

MOTHER JASMINE:

One day we got a young fox we named Roxy as soon as they saw each other they started licking. Jasmine kept trying to pick Roxy up by the scruff of the neck and mother her. This is where it started, now they are best friends and do everything together. Since then Jasmine has tried to mother many animals from fox cubs, badger cubs, rabbits and even tried her hand/paw at the odd bird.

This is not about the Founders

this is only about the Animals! We must never forget that...

I have rescued many animals

  so I know they have emotional needs. I wish a person would live as they are going to have their animals live for a day. Then maybe treatment of animals will improve.

The average person doesn't realize

 that animal mistreatment is directly connected to human to human violence. Statistics have proven over and over again, that convicted felons of violent crimes have a past of abusing animals.

The men and women,

  who make up the rescue community, are rebels. As rebels go, we may be somewhat unconventional. But, one trait that draws us together, compels us to aid animals in need and separates us from non-rescuers is that we have said "NO!"

JUST SAY NO!

No: The mass slaughter of innocent animals is not a solution to pet overpopulation.
No: An animal is not a disposable consumer good that can be tossed aside and forgotten.
No: Killing of a healthy animal because there is not a home for it is not euthanasia; it is simply killing.

I understand the need to be realistic.

  But the problem is not thinking too big, but thinking too small. Commitment, dedication and tenacity can overcome what is difficult and impractical and make the seemingly impossible possible.
