EVERY PENNY COUNTS

Nuneaton Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary needs a bigger space and must relocate to accommodate our wildlife to do this we will have to raise £300,000. The Wildlife Sanctuary today launched a charity appeal with a difference - "Every Penny Counts."

EVERY PENNY COUNTS!
There is seven billion 1p's 'in circulation' in the United Kingdom, as many as one-third are languishing in jam jars, milk bottles and children's piggy banks.

This means that at any one time as much as £20 million worth of cash is literally doing nothing. And while to each individual household a few odd 'coppers' lying around might not seem very significant, added together they make up a small fortune.

Nuneaton Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary is asking everyone to unearth those forgotten pennies and hand them over to help abandoned and mistreated wildlife by helping us find a new home to care for these poor creatures.

The target amount for Nuneaton Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary is 30 million pennies - or £300,000. But if everyone would find just three or four pennies each then that target would soon be exceeded.
Our Every Penny Counts appeal will run until our goal is met. ! We will have several collection points for this fundraising campaign. You will see glass jugs in stores, restaurants, pubs, post office, and local businesses in addition to several groups who are raising money - such as schools and youth clubs. We even ask that you put an “Every Penny Counts” jug on your desk at work.

For Nuneaton Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary -
every penny really does count.
The first three letters of “fundraising” are “fun” - and we want everyone to have fun whilst raising funds for us. There are a wide selection of ways to get involved.

Every year Nuneaton Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary helps prevent many animals from becoming homeless or living in bad or abusive conditions.

Without your financial support Nuneaton Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary would not be able to continue our essential work. It is donations from individuals and companies like you that allow us to retain our independence – Please give what you can.

Our dream can become a reality. Ideally we need two acres of land with a two bedroom house … we need to live on site. If this is a rental we need to be able to build aviaries, animal enclosures, fences, gates, etc on it. It would need to be a long tenancy agreement.
